Supreme Court hears Ihedioha’s judgment assessment application, to rule nowadays

The Supreme Court in Abuja has heard the software for evaluate of its January 14, 2020, judgment which removed Emeka Ihedioha as Imo State Governor and declared Hope Uzodinma because the valid winner of the last governorship election inside the nation.
A seven-guy panel of the apex court docket led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, stated the courtroom’s ruling on the software filed by Ihedioha might be added at 3pm on Tuesday, The PUNCH reports.



The CJN led the panel whilst the court in its judgment added on January 14, 2020, sacked Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party as the governor and declared Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress as the authentic winner of March nine, 2020, governorship election in Imo State.

Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, who delivered the lead judgment, declared Uzodinma as the winner of the election after restoring the results of the ballot  allegedly excluded from the final consequences, which gave Ihedioha victory.
